  • Generated successful brand identity, brand positioning, catalog, collateral, P.O.S. and video material for the Hunter Douglas account.

  • Enhanced launch of new products and sub-brand, by extending clients’ brand into collateral, advertising and non-advertising media, including sales books, kiosks and informational video. 

  • Scouted locations, determined styles, selected talent and art directed studio and location photo and video shoots which were well received by the client and the agency.

  • Effectively sustained project through post-production stages and supervised assigned creative and production teams responsible for the day-to-day activity of account with favorable outcomes.

  • Produced a variety of special assignments for preferred accounts such as California Table Grape Council, Duty Free Shops, Microsoft and SuperCuts, creating successful branding, advertising and print collateral, always ensuring a high standard of creative excellence while being well received by agency clients.

  • Assisted in the redefining of the culture of the agency during a transition phase by directing the creative and bringing redefinition to life through printed in-house materials. This was a highly successful project which was lauded by the agency Chairman.   

 

California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco  |  Graphic Design Manager  |  1/89 to 5/90

  • Managed the Design Department for a one year contract to cover for the Director who was out on maternity leave.

  • Facilitated collaboration with numerous departments of the institution as well as outside clients, designers and vendors, enhancing through creative direction, the aesthetic of department materials and marketing for the various departments as well as exhibits.

  • Designed and implemented exhibit and sales materials, invitations, collateral and displays for temporary exhibits and effective themed “Academy Ball” fundraising packages that were well received by the Academy and their patrons.
